Rhoda Grant MSP has been contacted by O2 customers from Poolewe advising that they have not had a mobile signal for 14 days.
Commenting, Rhoda said,
“Clearly the recent storm has caused damage to the mast in the Gairloch/Poolewe area, but for customers to have to wait 14 days for a repair is not acceptable.
"I have made contact with O2 today and they advised that they were aware there was a problem, but they were waiting for permission from a third party to allow the repair.
"After my intervention, the company said they would now escalate and try and make sure repairs were carried out as soon as possible.”
