Congratulations to Nevis Bakery

Rhoda Grant, Highlands and Islands regional Labour MSP, has congratulated Nevis Bakery in Fort William, who have won a Gold Taste Award.

Mrs Grant said: "It is great news for this local bakery to scoop huge a prestigious award. They received the three star Gold Great Taste Award and the Scottish Speciality regional and an award for its Demerara shortbread.

"They also won a gold star for its Highland oaties and its oatcakes. The hard work and dedication shown by Archie and Hazel Paterson and all their staff in producing such high quality products should be recognised."

Mrs Grant added: "Nevis Bakery is one of Highlands & Islands Enterprise's Account Managed businesses and is currently working through a development plan with HIE to maximise its growth potential."
