Rhoda has given her support to the following motion in the Scottish Parliament  :

STOP-PIP Campaign

That the Parliament welcomes the STOP-PIP campaign, which, in partnership with the Daily Record, highlights serious concerns about the introduction of personal independence payments (PIP) for disabled people needing additional support with living costs; notes that the campaign is releasing a series of short films by a Scots director, which expose the negative impacts on the ability of disabled people to live their lives; believes that the denial or withdrawal of PIP can make it more difficult for recipients to stay in work; expresses concern that around 40% of all PIP decisions taken in Scotland have resulted in PIP being disallowed, and looks forward to the devolution of disability living allowance and personal independence payments and the opportunity to restore humanity to the benefits system.
